Happiness

What I have learned about happiness is that it is not defined by what you have, but how you perceive your situation.

In the sense that you have to enjoy what you have each moment, even though the moment might be different from what you originally thought.

It is crazy how each moment seems to be pasting by faster, each day seems shorter and the laughs rumble through you’re body and smiles seem to never smear off you’re face.

Looking back, I realize I am in one of the happiest moments in my life, I am surrounded by the people I love the most, and even though I wish things could’ve worked out better, I have learned that this moment is what matters, not want to changing the moment to what you want it to be. Is there things I wish I could change, of course there are, but I have no power or control over it. So I can do is understand, hope and dream.

So even though life puts you some shit, you have to learn the ride, cause that’s the only you’re make it out alive.

I just don’t get it

I just don’t.

Why?

He was such a kind spirit, a good spirit. I saw him last Thursday. He was tangible, still living

And now he is gone. He is dead.

I love you like a father, you worried and cared about me and countless other students, Mr.Goldman. And you will be dearly missed. I could only imagine what a great father you were to Jake and all my love and prayers go out to him and your family. I am sorry I didn’t really know what was going on. I am so sorry I assumed. I am so sorry I wasn’t there until the end.

Your life, love, and spirit will live on in all those who were touched. You changed many in Beacon and like Forrest Gump, you have seen countless things that you were able to see and share with us.

I am so grateful I was able to meet you and be able to get to know you on a more personal level.

I am so grateful for your kindness and gentle heart and open mind.

You will never be forgotten Jon Goldman. You will always be in my thoughts and in my prayers.
